ANTS

Adult ant species come in many different shapes and sizes, are divided into three colony castes; queens, workers or males. Queens are fertile females that lay all the eggs in one colony. The workers are wingless women who collect food, feed larvae, maintain the nest, protect the colony and do not reproduce. ants males are winged and their only job is to mate with queens during the collection process.
Some species invade homes and gardens and cause damage by
feeding on products of economic value.
Some species are capable of biting and stinging and can cause a allergic reaction in people who are injured and who are sensitive.
